First of all...relax. Second is try taking some PMS meds like pamprin

that say it helps bloating. Third...just tell them. If it puts you over

by only 1-2 pounds, they should consider that. Otherwise, try to lose

an extra few ounces between now and then. You should be fine.

Thank you !

I knew you and Donna would come to my rescue! It is just so close now, I would hate to have to wait again just because of TOM! I had to wait more than 2 weeks just to get this appt!!!

Barbara, I can certainly relate. Everytime I had to

weigh in for apts., I was always...ALWAYS on my cycle

and it would be like the first or second day. I felt

like I was being ambushed or something. I did have

one incident where I went in for my case management

apt (KP Richmond) and then later was suppose to be my

pre-op calls (same day) and I weighed in two pounds

over (don't get worried though). The case manager

canceled her apt. but I was still allowed to go to the

pre-op class. This was on a Thursday. I asked to come

back on Monday and weigh and they said yes and when I

did I weighed 7 pounds lighter. So if that happens,

if you can, come back and weigh in. I really watched

my sodium and eat protein and water and worked out

(walked 3 miles a day which was as much as I could do

with time constraints, etc.).

So these situations do have happy endings. I am

praying for you. Take care.

Thanks Pam. My first few appts were all at that TOM, including my orientation so it wasn't that big of a deal. But now, with this one, I am so worried I will be over. I have already done my pre-op class and my EKG, so I don't have much more to do other than this appt.
