-- I'm not sure if you were thinking the ketosis breath from the

Atkins diet is similar to the halitosis that some people with BPD have

had, but they are not the same. I have smelled ketosis breath before;

the halitosis I have smelled on people who have developed halitosis

from WLS surgery is much, much different, though equally as

unpleasant. I should say right here that I know many people who have

had WLS surgery,and bad breath it is not a common occurrence. But for

the people it has happened to, it is powerfully strong and a very

unpleasant, unnatural smell.
