Virgin Red Palm Oil?

I'm wondering if anyone on here uses virgin red palm oil, like the

kind that TT sells. I've heard it's supposed to be super good for you,

and I'd like a cooking oil that's stable at high temps, but I'm scared

to try it since I've heard it has a 'unique' taste...and it's SUPER

expensive. So anyone on here who has tried it and liked it, or not

liked it, what does it taste like? How do you use it? What brand do

you get? And any other info you could give me on it would be great,

too. Thanks!

Peace =)

Well, I know it's supposed to be incredibly healthy for African Grey parrots

(they eat it in the wild). However, my birdie refuses it (she likes butter

instead *rolls eyes*). I wasn't very helpful, was I ;-).
