Hi jae and list,

Just wanted to say hello.

And to to wish jae all the happiness.

I'm pretty busy with school.

My stress level is really high.

Will see if its effecting GD when I go and have my blood checked.

Still off of the MMI.

Well, if I have to go ack on it, I have two bottles in my medicine lol.

Oh and it will be a year on friday that I started living with graves.

The day after I take comprehensive exams.

i hope that is a good luck sign lol.

Jae,

Life begins at 50!! I was 54 this year when I got married in May. Since he

didn't have health insurance, at the time, he joked about marrying me for my

insurance!!

With all the crappy stuff going on with us, isn't it nice to have loving,

supportive men in out lives??

Once again,

Congrats!

Well... it's probably only about half romantic. But it's kind of funny.

Yesterday was my birthday. He had been cautioned that being broke was

no excuse for not getting me a birthday present and since it was my

50th... Sheesh! I expected something special.

So he presented me with a really extravagant selection of gold jewelry:

tennis bracelet, earrings, necklace.

I loved it, of course, but was a bit worried that perhaps I had laid it

on too thick about the importance of my 50th birthday and his role in

it. I didn't want him to take a freaking bank loan!

I thanked him profusely but later mentioned my fear. He told me most

sincerely that he loved me more than anyone ever, etc. All the good

stuff.

I said that was wonderful, but noted he couldn't love me more than

anyone ever because he didn't want to marry me. Friends, I am not above

a little guilt. I'm 50.

He asked me if I would marry him if he asked.

I asked him if he had good health insurance.

He said yes.

I said yes I would say yes if he ever asked me.

He got down on one knee and proposed using a tennis bracelet. LOL

I said yes.

HAHA. Funny how romance changes slightly in your 50s! Forget hearts

and flowers: Do you have good health insurance! haha.

I'm so glad life begins at 50 because my 40s sucked so bad that I don't

even think Graves Disease can ruin my 50s.

You are invited! hahaha. But I hope you like bluegrass and gospel. His

father is a pentecostal preacher and I think everyone in that family

plays the guitar or banjo. Their family parties have more guitars than

people!

Don't know when, yet. Maybe March04?

I've never been to their church (I'm roman catholic) but my guess is

that a hearty " amen " is a requirement so you'll fit right in. Love

cello. Just bought a yo yo ma CD with baroque music on a cello with no

pin. Looks uncomfortable!

Thanks for the good wishes. It's so sweet of you.
