Guest guest
Dear friends, This is 's dad talking since my s.o. is off to New England Medical Center with . had her second birthday on Saturday and yesterday morning her stomach/ intestines stopped working. She went to Baystate Medical Center yesterday morning and put her on full TPN. Nothing is going through her J-tube except medicines. Baystate can't figure out what is going on with her so at 6 PM tonight (Monday) the ambulance is sending them to NEMC. has been very lethargic and has been getting headaches. I guess she'll be getting a 24 hour EEG and a spinal tap to check for amino acids (I believe) in her spinal fluid. After that, I don't know what is going on. is acting a lot better today since nothing is going through her J-tube. Hopefully, the doctors in Boston will have more answers for us. Take care and we'll keep you updated the best we can. Thanks! - father to (2 year old with Mito, ?RTA, seizures, autonomic dysfunction, etc), Kaitlin (5 years old) and (6 1/2) with Aspergers, Tourettes, and Celiac Disease, and a great wife, Heidi. _________________________________________________________________ Check out Election 2004 for up-to-date election news, plus voter tools and more! http://special.msn.com/msn/election2004.armx
