I have UC since last 9 yrs. I am on SCD for almost 6 months. I was fine for

first 3 months then started getting flare-up again from last 2 months.

I was suggested by my friend to visit a nutritionist. After going through the

nutritional response test i was prescribed a couple of supplements. One of them

was okra-pepsin. I did some research on the internet on this perticular

medicine. It's supposed to be very good for healing the colon.

I was wondering if anybody has tried the nutritional response test and what do

you think about these standard processed supplements from whole foods.

Thanks!

Okra contains mucilagenous polysaccharides and is not SCD legal.

The supplements by Standard Process are very very high

quality. We've gotten them for forty years for my DH and they have

kept him from having to have knee surgery on his second knee as he

had (before we met) on the first knee. Unfortunately, every product

they have seems to have a huge long list of ingredients and even

before SCD there are always at least a few that I cannot have. Be

very careful with this brand, though the quality is excellent.
