OMG....bwhahahahahaha!!! I hadn't even *thought* of that! What am I gonna d=

o with my old

undies? What about the bras I could use as parasails? Oh my...what you ca=

n learn from

post-ops! :) Well...mine are all cotton and the animals (pets) already see=

k and destroy them.

Maybe I could cut them up and use them as kindling?

Thanks for sharing and giving me a much-needed laugh today!

  • 8 years later...

Today marks six months since I started. If I went back six months

and a day, I certainly would not have believed this much improvement

was possible, even though I have a great deal more to go. My gut

fluctuations have calmed down quite a lot, although I have to admit

when I go out, I still am ticking off the next bathroom in my mind.

Long-standing habit! But on the whole I am certainly satisfied with

my progress. I'm still not ready to try dairy or eggs, or honey, but

I seem to be (finally!) getting more vegetables back into my

life. The improvements have allowed me to see just how serious my

adrenal problems are, and so I am working on those now, too, as well

as (as of four days ago) finally buckling down to work on candida. I

don't think I can increase LDN any more without shaking that. I want

to thank everyone for all their help during this time. I have learned

a tremendous amount, directly in answers to questions, just reading

what everyone else is doing, recommendations for books, etc. And

also for the half dozen people who wrote me privately and convinced

me that I really ought to add LDN as well. I don't think I would have

picked that up by myself. I truly think LDN is an excellent compliment for SCD.

Today is also the 31st anniversary of my mastectomy. So, a good day all around.
