Guest guest
I know it can be hard to decide upon getting a wheelchair, but I knew when we got one for Asenath that it was the best thing I could do for her. Walking to far only wears them down and causes further regressions. We have not regretted getting Asenath's wheelchair once as it has been such a blessing at Mayo. We don't use it very when here in Des Moines, IA but when we go to Mayo it is such a great treasure to have with us. On days we use the bus to get to the clinic I miss it and end up using the wheelchairs provided for patients. They are so much less comfortable and do not recline. Strollers are good too, but just weren't the right choice for us. Hope you are able to make the best choice for your child and yourself.
