Guest guest
.... I was going to say " old farts, " but the pun is too lame. Anyway, I seem to recall reading somewhere that as we age, we naturally lose good bacteria, even if 'healthy,' and therefore oldsters need more probiotics than youngsters (relatively speaking, of course). So my question: is there a recommended probiotic dosage for the, ahem, 'less than youthful'? (setting aside severity of gut prob and usual caveat of individual sensitivities). thanks, tom, 55 (and counting ... ) ibs / cfs 3 yrs(I guess?) scd, 7/09 (jumping on and off tailgate like a neurotic dog)
Guest guest
Hi Tom, I'm " less than youthful " too. From what I have read, the SCD yogurt contains more than enough for anyone of every age. As to capsules, I'm not sure. PJ > > ... You can give me almost three years! No more than 3 cups of yogurt per day, in general. I cannot use dairy yet but have been using SCDophilus from GI Pro Health very successfully.
