Guest guest
Kaiser called last night, in all my pre-op bllodwork they found I am positive for H-Pylori. Hell if I ever heard of that. So....Now I'm on a treatment program of antibiotics and prolosec. I'm taking more darn pills than Randy was pre-op!!!!!! Who knew? I don't even have a tummy ache. I sure hope UCLA doesn't give me the boot for this SNAFU. I'll find out Monday at my preop appointment. Hugs Sue

Guest guest
I also had H-Pylori years ago, before they provided a sheet to take all of meds. You'll be fine. My doctor told me that most people will have it at one time or another. Some will need to be treated others won't (because they don't know they have it) sue mendez wrote: Kaiser called last night, in all my pre-op bllodwork they found I am positive for H-Pylori. Guest guest
Hi Sue, I was diagnosed with that about 10 years ago. The doctor checked me for it when the gastritis medication wasn't helping. I couldn't tolerate the treatment so I just lived with it. It is bacteria that can cause ulcers. I was lucky that I never developed an ulcer. That shouldn't be a reason to give you the boot if you are under treatment now. Ramona
