Guest guest
I know that Marilyn has mentioned this site many times and I've actually used it in the past. I have a question though. When you make something (like almond flour bread, for example) how do you go about entering that data into the program? Do you create all your own custom foods? I'd like to keep better track of exactly how much (calorie-wise) I'm eating and just remember that the last time I tried using the program I ended up creating an excel sheet to figure out the info for all the foods I made on my own. Of course then I'd make it differently the next time and mess everything up! I also put a ridiculous amount of time into doing that when I really should have been doing something a little more active. So yes, how do you go about entering SCD dishes? Thanks! My custom foods then get organized into folders. I may have commonly used ingredients, or combinations that I typically use all the time so I click and add to create a new custom food. I have 3-4 versions of some things, 'cause I just threw in what was handy today.... — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund
Guest guest
I think Marilyn uses the PC version so you can actually add real custom recipes to it. I haven't been able to figure it out on the free version. Misty > > I know that Marilyn has mentioned this site many times and I've actually used it in the past. I have a question though. Guest guest
The free version of http://www.thedailyplate.com/ allows you to group your foods into 'meals'. You can use this to add ingredients and create a meal from them to re-use. It also allows you to use the foods others custom enter (which I don't think Fitday does...at least it didn't a year ago when I switched to thedailyplate from fitday.)
