Guest guest
Hi All, Ok, on this list I mostly lurk... but I wanted to let you know I am home and doing well. My surgery was 6/19 and I was in the hospital until 6/23. I did end up on the vent after surgery for a day. I have sleep apnea and my BMI was 66. I am short and most of my wt is in my abdomen. I had the DS with Dr Dennis in Marietta. It was lap completely. Yeah!!! I actually went to work Thursday for an all day meeting. Yesterday, I went out on a date... with my new guy. I am feeling really good. I have not had any nausea or vomiting. I am getting around ok, and have minimal pain. I feel so good, I have to be reminded not to do too much too soon. I did end up getting a recliner to sleep in which has been the best thing I did for myself. Last night I did sleep in my bed for about 6 hours and did good. I am eating about 1/2 -1 cup worth a food per meal. Concentrating on pureed foods that are protien. My first week, I lost 7lbs!! Yeah!!! Guest guest
Lori, Welcome home! It sounds like you are doing great. I felt good very soon after surgery also, and often had to be reminded to take it easy. I wish you the best of luck and continued success. Guest guest
Dear , I have always been a water drinker, so that has been no problem so far, I just keep ice water close by and sip all day long. Thanks for the tip though. No, we did not go dancing... actually we went to WalMart to get my 30 minutes of walking in in an air conditioned place. LOL, then back to my house for a movie.... and well I am not sure how XXX is was, but there was some hugging and kissing happening....LOL Hugs, Lori > > Hi All, > > Ok, on this list I mostly lurk... but I wanted to let you know I am > > home and doing well. > > > > My surgery was 6/19 and I was in the hospital until 6/23.
