Guest guest
Hello there fellow WLS friends. My name is Lori and I attend the Big Horn support group in Elk Grove. I have been having really really bad nauses and vomiting, dry heaving for at the least 3 weeks now. Dr. Dutta gave me 2 different types of nausea medication, that helps a little. He said that he thinks my opening from stomach to intestine has narrowed, if it doesnt get better by the 10 th week of surgery, i will have to be scoped. is there anyone out there that can tell me if they had this much nausea and when it went away, or if they were in the same boat as me?? this really is tireing and i cant hardly eat, the up side is weight loss( 41 lbs since 9/27 surg date) well hope to hear from anyone soon. Guest guest
Lori I'm so sorry to hear this it doesn't sound good. I never had nausea or vomiting, but for 5 weeks I did have severe diarhea. It finally went away the beginning of the 6th week, this probably doesn't help, so I hope you hear from some one what's going on. You take care. Keep us posted. Guest guest
Lori, I am sorry to hear of your problems. I didn't have your problems but I was recently scoped and it wasn't too bad. It just seemed weird that is all. I hope it goes away soon. On the up side congratulations on the weight loss. Ramona
