Thanks so much for the info! I went to the web-site and looked under contact info. The 800 number wouldn't work in our area. Not sure what that means. I was wondering about how you pay if you are a foreigner and if insurance is excepted,etc. Not sure how all that would work. Also was wondering if they dealt with and or treated carnitine transporter defect and mitochondrial depletion syndromes. I'm fairly certain that Dr. Tein discovered the OCTN2 gene which is the carnitine transporter gene. I was hoping maybe she would have some ideas for me since I've not responded to IV carnitine supplementation. If you are in to see Kirkland's doc. anytime soon just run by her and see what she has to offer. Thanks in advance. Just exploring my options at this point.
