Guest guest
Hello once again, Heidi said that is doing better today. The GI doctor came in and said that it sounds like had a huge Mito flare-up. Neurology said they are looking for something and ruling out a lot of things. goes for a MRI or an MRA of her brain tomorrow. She may get a spinal tap tomorrow too but Heidi needs to talk to someone about sedation. Endocrinology says that it could be this, or this, or this, or this, or it could be just autonomic. Sounds helpful huh? Urology says that she does have bladder retention and gave us some options. The one that sounds the best (for now) is to have catheterized 1-3 times a day to drain her bladder. This is the latest as of 6 PM. Heidi said that she was going to try the laptop tonight so hopefully she can contact more people from the hospital. Take care and thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Thanks for listening. - father to 2 years old (Mito, seizures, on TPN, autonomic dysfunction, RTA, etc,) Kaitlin 5 and 6 1/2 (has Aspergers, Tourettes, and Celiac Disease) _________________________________________________________________ Get ready for school!
