Guest guest
Hi there everyone! I am new to this group and have a question I hope someone can answer. I am hoping to get my surgery date in Jan (if Dec. is available I will have to pass until Jan due to work). I also have a chance to go on a cruise in Oct. The question- will if feel like going on a crusie after only 5 months after surgery? I am going into the surgery with little or no major health issues. Guest guest
Well if the cruise is in October that is 10 months but even at 5 months I think you will be more than fine. I had open on 10/3/05 and had my brothers wedding on 10/29/05 and I was worried about being able to be up for that long and the long weekend but I was more than fine. I think it will be something great for you to celebrate with. Guest guest
There is no reason why you shouldn't. What you have to try and remember is that everyone's recovery is different...no two are the same. For the most part, I would say you should. I am 9 months out and I have no problems. I wish you luck with everything. Pam Marsh --- pegmo1212 pegmo1212@...> wrote: > Hi there everyone! I am new to this group and have > a question I hope > someone can answer. Guest guest
Hi there pegmo1212...I had my surgery on sept 21..and I would leave rightnow if I could.I am actually going on a cruise in January, and feel real good.No let me rephrase that I feel GREAT!!I am hoping to lose another 25 lbs before I go.I have even checked out the ship for their gym.I am planing on doing many things to keep me busy. Food is a big thing on a cruise so you have to plan on things to keep you entertain. It will be my 27th anniversary and hoping to do many things. You plan that trip and buy that bathing suit and have a wonderful time.
