You may have to force yourself to eat for a few days in order to get back to eating. My friend was having this problems and I made her a list of foods and told her she HAD to eat at least 5 servings of food from the list each day. This may mean that she would have to pick at it or take a bite every 10 to 15 minutes until it was gone and then begin the process all over again. You know what. She did it and now she is doing great eating. She force fed herself at least 5 of these items a day for about 4 days and has been doing great eating ever since. I am no nutritionist, but this is what worked for her. This list of foods is as follows: Remember begin by forcing yourself to eat 5 of these a day (slowly and just picking at till gone if you need to). Then work up to 6 and beyond (she never had to do this as eating 5 a day kicked her in to eating regularly and now she doesn't have a probem eating) 1 cup chicken noodle soup (with noodles) 3 saltines spread thickly wit peanut butter 3 saltines w/1/4 cup tuna salad 3 slices turkey lucheon meat 3 slices ham luncheon meat 1/4 cup cashews 1/4 cup peanuts 1 piece string cheese 2 chicken nuggets 1 egg (fixed any way) w/1/2 piece toast 1 egg 9 fixed any way w/3 saltine crackers 1 slice American cheese w/ 3 saltine crackers 1 cup milk 1/2 beef pattie--no bun 1/4 bee patty with bun 1/3 cup cottage cheese 1/2 cup mashed potatoes 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 cup chicken breast strips (frozen chicken fajita meat Any other foods usually 1/2 cup would equal a serving to be counted.
