I need a little help here

I am having surgery with DR Gagner on Tuesday. I have already had

numerous problems getting through to the nurses. I sent Dr Gagner an

e-mail through the surgically slim website and while his reply was a

bit short, I got calls from three people in his office that very day.

I think that we should all chip in and buy a computer for the nurses

so that we could get through to them in a timely manner.

I am thinking of trying to find a surgeon who does DS or is familiar

with ds to do my initial follow-up care. I don't anticipate any

problems but If I do have any I don't want to wait a long time to get

help. Does anybody have any advice or suggestions. By the way I am in

Upstate NY.

I'm sure Dr. Gagner will give you his pager #. If he doesn't, ask

for it...

They probably already have computers. Most businesses do.

The problem is not having email access. My own surgeon's

office frequently says how embarassed they are for not having an

email address to give out. In their case, the hospital simply is not

wired for high speed DSL and they do not have a spare phone

line to use for a dial-up account.

You might petition Mt. Sinai to evolve to the 21st Century and get

set up with DSL so the nurses' office is online. Dr. Gagner might

get his email at home. Dr. , who did her fellowship with

Dr. Gagner gets all her email at home, not at the hospital.
