Guest guest
Appetite suppressants are only a temporary fix. They do you solve the problems that are causing you to over-eat. Losing the 10% is the time to focus on what makes you eat and fixing the problems so that the bypass will be an effective tool for you. Guest guest
April, I did not use any type of stimulant when I was going through the 10% loss phase and I suggest that you don't either. I say this because post surgery you won't be able to use things like that. Secondly, you and do this without that stuff. Limit your carbs because I have come to understand that when you consume carbs (or too many) you tend to stay hungery all the time. Try to increase your protein more and drink more water. Incorporate exercise and if you do exercise, add 5 or 10 more minutes to it and stay the course. It will come off. Also, journal what you are consuming and be honest no matter what. If you see that you could eliminate some things, then do that. Every small change counts and pretty soon you will see that scale move. You can do this. Hang in there and we are all here for you. Guest guest
Uh oh...ummm Martha answered this one a few weeks back. Appetite suppressents arent teaching you what you need to do post op. One of the main reasons for the 10% requirement is that it prepares you for life post op. You begin eating the way you are supposed to eat post op. You start making the changes.
