Guest guest
Becki - Your post has no twinge of censorship at all. In fact, it is something with which I almost totally agree! However, while the bill is being debated, and prior to any vote, our input to our legislators will help us secure what we desire. That is not to say that we all want the same thing nor does it say that our desired wording will be the same. However, I do believe that we all want to assure that we are covered by our insurers. We should make this fact know to our elected representatives. They do keep track of the input they receive and are often influenced accordingly. If we maintain silence or go ballistic over the idea of becoming political, we are guaranteed not to be heard. I am sure that the ASBS would not be opposed to us voicing our concerns to our senators and members of Congress. I would hope that our goals would be the same.
