Guest guest
Hi All, You may know of this site, but I thought I'd share it just in case. I was recently told of an organization, Exceptional Parent, that also publishes it's own magazine for parents of special needs children. The person who told me about it has her PhD in early childhood intervention and highly recommended this website and magazine. The magazine is pretty pricey, (34.95) but the site is free I am reasonably sure. When I visited their site, I found they do sell two different books, reasonably priced, about mito disorders. One is for physicians, and one is for parents. I am considering getting a couple of copies for the pediatrician here locally and our ER docs. The site is very informative. I do not remember the site address- I just accessed it through my search engine under Exceptional Parent. I hope this helps. I love all of the info I have gained through this group, with a disorder like mito, info sharing is most helpful, and the emotional support is valuable. Joni- Mom to Logan,13(cleft lip/palate) and 11 yr. old twins, , some mito signs, and Collin, non specified mito disorder.
