Guest guest
Matt, I hope you've had an enjoyable day, with beautiful weather & lots of love. When I turned 50, I said that I was on my second half-century. It can sound old, or distinguished; I think of it as distinguished. Recently I read a review of a book titled "My First 100 Years." I like that kind of attitude. Let's hope & pray that your next 50 years are better than the last few years! Guest guest
Wouldn't it be great if we all lived close enough to get together once in awhile? Having this and a couple of other groups that I go to has been wonderful. We each know that regardless we are not alone. Blessings,Beckybelltown_mac wrote: Hi I havn't written in in a while but those comments about losing friends is so correct- I used to have lots of friends in Seattle and it seemed that one by one they stoped calling or coming by. Now even when I call them they are always busy and will try to come by next week but rearly do. I was told by my one remaining friend that several of my former friends think I have AIDS and dont want to admit it. Its like a double whammy- U get sick and then your friends leave you. I have thought of leaving Seattle several times but figure my family is here plus I assume the same thing will happen no matter where u live. It really makes you reslize that no matter how good u think u are friends with someone, that most friends are fairweather friends who only want your friendship when things are good and move on when things get bad.
