YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO EAT THE SUPPOSITORIES!!! (^_^)

I never had it really bad, though I did have weeks of

gut-churning gas and other distractions. But, for me, in week 6

post-op, it was like somebody threw a switch one day, and I felt like

a real person again and not a recuperating surgical case. Since

then, I have had a few minor things here and there along the way, but,

basically, I have felt strong and " among the living " once

again.

Best wishes for a full and swift recovery,

Steve

Sometimes it takes awhile for your new tummy to settle down. I learned that some have extra sensitive stomach receptors so it takes them a little longer to recover from the nausea. You MUST try and try again to get liquids down and keep something in your stomach all the time. When you get up in the middle of the night eat something no matter how small it might be and only eat those things that appeal to you right now. Forget the protein for now.....if it appeals to you, fine....eat it.....otherwise dont worry about it and just eat whatever appeals to you at the moment. Get lots of rest too becuz you need it!
