Guest guest
HI Started Lap, but went totally open....less than 4 inch incision! Dr Herron told me that once he started the LAP, he could not see as well as he wanted...thus switched to open....fine with me, THE DOCTOR KNOWS WHAT IS BEST GIVEN EACH INDIVIDUAL PERSON. Dr Herron explained that due to male makeup....organ location and size, etc. BPD/DS is a longer more complicated procedure in males. What can I say? Swigging Isopure and looking foward to many good days ahead. My advice................... Do not rush, do serious homework, be honest with yourself about each procedures pluses and minuses, be honest with yourself again, whether this is deep down what you want and/or need. Try to pick the best surgeon for the particular procedure. Do not be put off by hassles and time it takes with preo-op needs. Keep your eye on the ball, remember the many lousy years of mental, social, economic and physical anguish. TAKE A DEEP BREATH, WISH FOR YOUR DREAM...THEN GO MAKE IT HAPPEN dan > > > Dan- > > Welcome back... Take care & heal well!!
