Guest guest
I read the articles and thought about how great it was for him to be doing this research and how much it could mean to all of us. At the bottom of the article, there was an email address to the man that wrote the article, but I couldn't find one for Mr. Mootha himself. So, I sent an email to the man that wrote the article and asked him to make sure Mr. Mootha read it if he could. I just thanked him for all he was doing and told him I knew it was going to be him or someone like him that would find a treatment or cure for these disorders. I actually got an email back from him! I have included it in the body of this message. He wrote that he was sorry to hear about my daughter when it's actually my son, but that's okay. He might like to hear someone else's appreciation too. Vicki ~ mom to Caden: 1 yr. on Friday!! Possible mito Dear Ms. , Thanks for your encouraging note. I am really sorry to hear about your daughter. I am working hard in this area and do hope that my work, as well as that of a number of other dedicated researchers around the world working on mito dz, will translate to improved diagnosis and treatment. Your note really provides me with a lot of motivation. Best, Vamsi -- Vamsi K.
