Guest guest
You're welcome Darla! I always thought Chelsea's problem was ataxia, but dyspraxia makes more sense with what I see in her. She has recently been using a gait tainer, and while her brain knows what to do, she can't quite get her muscles to go thru all the movements and needs lots of facilitation. I help lift her leg and bear weight on the other, and she can pull her leg as far forward as the other, but has trouble getting it in front of the other. Much like you decsribed with Zippi. I hope she regains her skills, it must be so hard watching her lose and regain over and over again. At least now I know what is in store for Chelsea's future, and I am greatly thankful for that!
