Guest guest
Thanks for finding out what the meds are called. Caden doesn't have seizures either, that we know of! He has what our docs call "athetoid" movements. Very jerky and continuous. But they don't seem to cause Caden pain. They mentioned some names of the meds, but I didn't write them down and now can't remember. They just said they are anti- seizure meds, even though he doesn't have seizures. I would just like to have some ideas for our next meeting with the neuro. We don't want to give him anything like what you describe the Velagen Forte that will knock him out all the time. Thanks again! However since she has returned from leave she has been extremely helpful and very carring towards us and Connor. He has been put on medication to tackle the pain and movement disorders he has been experiancing. He was even put in hospital for 2 days for observation purposes and I suspect, to give us a bit of a break from the pressure. Mom and Connor had a private room and 24 hrs service. He's out today, which is a good thing as it's his First birthday, which we intend to make very special for him. Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
