I get approved (all appendages crossed!), I want to make sure it's for the correct pocedure. Marcia Marcia, Your surgeons decide which codes to bill under--it is out of your hands. Since there is no specific code for the DS (YET!), many docs bill under two codes, one for reducing he stomach and one for the intestinal bypass (the switch).
