Guest guest
I've sorta been out of the loop recently and haven't even felt like going to the local support group meetings because I've been denied 3 times and have tried to talk to BC/BS about me purchasing an insurance rider to help cover the surgery and was told that the policy was the policy and that they don't offer any kind of riders on their insurance, so basically I'm up shit creek. I've been so depressed that my doctor has had to change my anti-depressant to a much stronger one, and I'm getting more depressed as each day passes. And my husband agrees that I need the surgery, but how am I gonna pay for it is all he can say, which is no help whatsoever. I've been tested for sleep apnea and have found out that I have severe obstructive sleep apnea and have to sleep with a Bi-Pap machine nightly. Does anyone have any good ideas or suggestions for me? At this point I'm willing to even change jobs, but I'm having severe back problems at this stage and physical therapy worked for a couple of weeks but now I'm at the point where I have to wear electrodes on my back almost daily to control the pain. I can't stand for longer than a few minutes at a time, and can hardle manage to even go to Wal-Mart anymore. My husband has Type II diabetes as well, and he's on my insurance which covers all his needs, but he can't get any additional insurance to cover me because they won't even talk to him as soon as they find out he's Diabetic. I need help bad. Chelly BMI-66 and rising
