Hello everyone,

I am a pre-op and have been reading the posts on hair loss and

thought I would share this info. I am black with shoulder-length

chemically-relaxed hair. At one point my hair was over-processed and

I was suffering from HAIR BREAKAGE. A friend of mine (also black w/

mid-back-length relaxed hair) had gone through a stress-ful period

and had massive HAIR LOSS. She recommended a product called ApHOGEE

Treatment for Damaged Hair (I use it with the ApHOGEE Balancing

Moisturizer). It stopped her HAIR LOSS and when I used it, it stopped

my HAIR BREAKAGE.

After shampooing with your regular shampoo (I use L'Oreal Nutri-vive

which is also for breakage), you apply it to the hair and blow-dry it

on medium heat for a few mins. The hair becomes really stiff and

then you wash it out and use the balancing moisturizer. Then

condition as normal (I use L'Oreal Nutrivive conditioner). It is a

tedious process, but worth it.

Now, I don't know if this product is formulated for all hair types.

I just read the bottles and there is no indication that it is

exclusive to black hair. Like I said, I have seen it cure breakage

and hair loss alike. I have purchased it at beauty supply stores in

NY and MI and my friend has purchased it in GA, so I think it is

widely available. The bottles say " Pantresse Inc., Canton,MA 02021-

1448 " .

If anybody wants more info. e-mail me.

Hoping this helps,

lola
