Any Meat broth cooking time question

I'm wondering how long to cook any meat broth, but especially, how long should I cook a beef stock recipe in the crock pot? The recipe on the scdrecipe site for cooking this reads 6 to 9 hours. However, I've read recipes here and there about making chicken stock that read to cook that for as much as 24 hours. I'm just thinking that it seems like beef stock would need to cook longer than chicken stock since the bones are bigger. Is this just a matter of preference? How long do you all cook your different stocks? Is there a difference in taste depending on how long they cook?

Thanks very much in advance for replies.

According to the reference above 6-8 hrs gives a good flavor to Chicken Stock, and 12-72 hrs for Beef Stock. ..· ´¨¨)) -:¦:-¸.·´ .·´¨¨))((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:--:¦:- ((¸¸.·´*
