You are not very likely to get a lot of lactobacillus growth on the SCDiet because the diet does not provide a very pro-bacteria environment, even for things like acidophilus. That's why we eat so much of it everyday. I bet the person who wrote that email did not know that. Bifidus seems to have stronger capabilities of settling in and colonizing - that may be why it can tend to overcolonize in some guts.
