What do you eat for breakfast if you don't eat eggs and not eating nut butters yet? I'm thinking about trying no eggs because my diarrhea is really, really bad again (I'm at 10 weeks....could be a flare I guess) right now and I thought I might try eliminating a food or two to see if that makes a difference. But eggs are my breakfast food! I'm just wondering what other eggless people do? I am on stage 2 foods

Thanks,

Marla,What about a cooked fruit smoothie? I use chilled cooked berries and pineapple, ripe banana, coconut milk and/or yogurt, orange juice and ripe avocado and a bit of coconut oil. The fats are really good to keep you feeling sated.AmeliaTo: BTVC-SCD Sent: Sun, January 24, 2010 3:33:18

Can you handle cheese? I often have a couple slices of provolone or

cheddar for breakfast.

I don't do much with fruit smoothies because I never tolerated much in

the way of even cooked fruit. But I have done what I call savory

smoothies -- meat, veggies, spices blended up with a bit of water or

homemade broth or tomato juice. I've also done them with hard boiled

eggs, but you trying to avoid eggs! <g> Avocado makes a great

addition, because of the healthy fats to help fill you up and keep you

from being hungry.

Any frozen fruit works, but using at least a banana really binds it together and makes it nice and smooth.
