Guest guest
I know a few people who have caught the flu from the shot... they insist that its not related, but with the number of people I personally know that got it within 2 or 3 days of getting the shot i dont know. I have read that it is usually alot mroe mild though... this is based on no medical research at all... we dont do the flu shot here, too many vaccine reactions in our family, were afraid to risk it. (they think its a hereditary sensitivity or something, as myself, my 2 nefews, and possibly my son had SEVERE reactions to vaccines in the past). > > Joey who is 5 years old got the flu shot Wednesday, well of course > because he is high risk. Guest guest
I've always been told you can't get the flu from the flu shot. It could be that Joey was exposed to someone with a cold and the symptoms are just now showing up. Remember it takes some time for illnesses to show up. But you can't get the flu from the flu shot. Now the flu mist is another story because you get the live virus with that one. I believe he just woke up with stuff that he picked up before the shot.
