Guest guest
I have been fighting urinary tract infection for about 2 months now. I have been on 3 different types of antibiotics and still no relief. Last night I went to the emergency room for help, the pain was beyond my tolerence level. What I was told is that because of the malabsorbtion my body is not getting the antibiotic in the dosage being prescribed. I was put on an I.V. and given antibiotics directly. The physician said many meds are absorbed in the duodenum, therefore, I needed to remind my primary care physician before he writes a script about this issue. Hopefully this new medicine will work. For all of the post-ops keep this in mind if you have any medical problems that require meds.
