I appreciate everyone's thoughts of this whole subject and one I really struggle with myself. I am torn and think as long as we have very strict guidelines on it, that its probably a good thing.

I am an extreme follower of Christ and after losing a child and having other children with various illnesses I sometimes wonder how it will all pan out when we know all of God's thoughts. Religion has been debated many times here and usually with a lot of respect. I think its okay to talk about these things b/c it can actually educate us all to see things from anothers perspective. We just hav eot be careful HOW we say it and if poeple are going to get offended then not to read the thread.

I think the stem cell issue and religion do have a place on this list b/c i think it is an issue that all of us deal with in another way than if we had never had a child with a life-threatening, incurable disease.

However, lets agree to stay away from voicing Kerry vs Bush issues. I think we can discuss the 'issues' without discussing the candidates. Lets also all committ to voting in the election though!
