Have you thought about the fact that the stem cell research that has show the most promise has been from stem cells harvested from adult lines, not embryonic ones? The current administration has not made embryonic stem cell research illegal and it is misleading for anyone to suggest such. The current administration has supported stem cell research more than the last administration. The current administration has ruled that federal dollars can only be used when studying current stem cell lines. There is no ban on embryonic stem cell research. I would really appreciate it if political speech was limited on this forum. I would also appreciate it if any political speech was accurate. I do not believe, and don't think that researcher believe, that there will be a cure for mito in any of our lifetimes. I don't know that there is any expectation for an effective treatment either. Why do we need this rhetoric?
