Guest guest
Hey Tracie, long time since I’ve been here, life is so busy, plus doc visits MRI’s etc.. I had high prolactin levels too, was able to conceive my two boys by the grace of God, after that they found the high prolatin and treated me with something, and Clomid, etc I still did not get pregnant and said forget this, and adopted. Interesting. I am continuing to loss function on my left sides, so now that we are on a different medication my doctor is going to try and get the Remicade covered???? Oh well always something as I read all these post. I have been working hard to get into Directorship before my side does go out on me, when I am a director I have a voice in MK and I am hoping to bring Sarcoid awareness to MK, they give money for research on women’s cancer and domestic violence, why not Sarcoid too, so guess pray for me, I have made it to Director in Qualification! I need your positive thoughts and prayers, so that I can bring more awareness to this disease, and more money to do more research for us. So if you don’t here from me for awhile I am busy working my Kay business, but thinking of you all and praying for you. Also, it is not at all uncommon to have high prolactemia levels with sarcoidosis. This would cause the " leaky " breasts-- and would also be extremely painful. I have intermittent problems with this, and end up with the feeling that my breasts are on fire-- and the nipples get really raw. It's not as bad now that I'm menopausal, but it was nasty (and also a huge part of why I wasn't able to conceive) when I was younger. Guest guest
Marla, I hope you get your Remicade covered. Unfortuantely, myself, ended up with a bad blood reaction and it was taken away from my treatment. (not trying to scare you) But I know it has helped many of people in the group and I have seen only a couple of people who ended up with a bad reaction like me. I commend you for help with the support of sarcoid. You are a very strong person. I hope you are feeling better soon and get back to the time awhile ago when you felt a lot better.
