I was on the NORD website. National Organization for Rare Diseases. I saw this note in studies that were going on. Thought I would pass it along...... Debbie Co-Moderator Pulmonary Sarcoidosis People with state II or state III pulmonary sarcoidosis may be eligible to participate in a study to evaluate the effects of atorvastatin (Lipitor) as a possible treatment for this disease to replace or reduce the need for steroids. Sarcoidosis is a rare disease that results from inflammation and can occur in almost any organ, but most cases involve the lungs. For information on this study, call (TTY: 866 411-1010).
