Guest guest
was recently diagnosed with mild type I von Willebrand disease. He will need IV DDAPV before procedures. He may need to have some at home if we can't get the GI bleeding under control any other way. The hope is that that will not be necessary. The hematologist thinks that probably also has it based upon her labs (all low end of normal, which apparently is not normal). is also having problems with bladder spasms. He has had problems in the past. Has anybody else had problems with crystals in the urine, spasms, bladder adhesions, or urethral strictures? Guest guest
I'm not sure how common von Willebrand disorder is. I do know that there are several other mito families that also have bleeding issues. The hematologist said that our , whose factor 8 and von Willebrand levels were on the low side of normal, probably also has von Willebrand.
