Guest guest
It seems that mostly women complain about the lasting nausea. I am a woman and have been wondering if perhaps it could have anything to do with the hormones that are going crazy while being released from the fat as weight is being lost. I've read about some having other problems that are caused by hormones flooding the system. Just an idea. I'm still pre-op and trying to prepare (my mind & my body) for when my insurance gives approval! Guest guest
What about starting your day with soup crackers? Farina? Wonder Bread (fortified: builds strong bodies 12 ways!)?Peppermint tea with a bit of ginger in it? LOTS AND LOTS of peppermint tea; I think you have to make sure you don't get dehydrated, especially in summer. Peppermint tea goes down very easily (and I'd think doesn't come back up too badly either, though that's never happened to me). When it's really awful, I drink a cup made with 2 teabags, steeped 20 mins. It clears it right up usually. Is anyone having this problem? I had my surgery 6/18/01- had a horrible week when I came home with gas and nausea- Your suggestions helped but I still suffer from nausea on and off throughout the day but I wake up every morning feeling awful- very nauseous and eventhough I try to eat something right away it lasts for hours- it takes all my effort not to gag and throw up- I'm still trying to drink as much as I can but I know I'm not getting in quite as much as I should- I do keep trying though - any suggestions?
