Guest guest
well, been to 2 er's in last weak or so, just treated for migranes. one ct scan at one hospital said nothing found, the other found mucus cyste in sinuses. both ignored the cns infection as causeing the migranes up the back and neck/head because my brain wasn't swelling at the moment. guess you have to make it there while this is happening to get someone to listen. I even told them that a neuro-opthamalogest refused to do my cataracts sergery until infections were under control and had asked if I had had a brain injury. I got a lecture on how I should listen to them and not self diagnose. ?? strange visit. problem is I've done my research and I know more about what has happened to me than they do. lack of proper medical attention is why I did the research. just cant believe they had the nerve. how rude they were. what ever happened to listening to the patient? Guest guest
hi jeanine, my name is ken, i know what your going through, ive been through the same thing for the past 4yrs, you as the patient KNOW what has happened and try to explain it to medical staff as best you can, and when most or all tests come back normal, they think its all in your head, its phsycological. ive been a respiratory therapist for 15 yrs and know most of the medical mumbo jumbo. i am totally astonished and apauled and disgusted with how the medical profession overlooks who is really having the trouble and who it is that is actually suffering. just keep going, don't stop, keep doing your research and learn on your own, its your best defense for YOURSELF!! keep looking for other doctors that may help you find diagnosis, its very tough. your on the right track. wish you the best!!!!!who wrote: well, been to 2 er's in last weak or so, just treated for migranes.one ct scan at one hospital said nothing found, the other found mucus cyste in sinuses. both ignored the cns infection as causeing the migranes up the back and neck/head because my brain wasn't swelling at the moment. guess you have to make it there while this is happening to get someone to listen.I even told them that a neuro-opthamalogest refused to do my cataracts sergery until infections were under control and had asked if I had had a brain injury.
