At the time, I only had the enlarged hilar nodes, but not to be left out, I developed NS 5 years with a nice attack on my cranial nerves. I wonder if the planets were aligned weird then; do we have any astrologies on the list? I was dx in May 1994. I know exactly what you mean about this disease being so scary. My flares get really bad. Now, my s Hopkins sarcoidosis dr is thinking about going a different direction b/c of the sarcoidosis neuropathy in my left leg/foot. My AICD is ok and for the most part my ticker hasn't acted up except when they "interrogated and paced" the device a few weeks ago...then my heart skipped like crazy for several days...REALLY scary. I am sure everyone else feel the same way, sometimes this disease scares the daylights out of you and you wonder how will I get through this flare. I have been having a really stressful time since last November but on the bright side my neice is expecting to give birth to my grand neice on Sunday for a really great birthday gift for my 50th!
