Guest guest
Sandy, I'm not sure what all the significance is, but here's a possible explanation. The swollen lymphnodes signifies a possible infection/inflammation. You should definitely ask the doctors if they think something else is infected/inflammed. The reason I say this is because, once, I had a really nasty infection in my left pinky and it caused the lymphnodes in my lower arm to swell. The doctors said that the infection was causing the lymphnodes to swell. As soon as they started me on antibiotics, the lymphnodes went back to normal. This may be why they are still worried about your lymphnodes still being inflammed. If it was just your pancreas causing the inflammation, the lymphnodes should have returned to normal once they removed the infected part of the pancreas. They may be worried that the rest of the panc is inflammed/infected or that another organ is involved.. I would definitely ask them if they think another organ might be affected by the imflammation/infection or if they think the rest of the panc that they left is inflammed/infected.. Also ask your GI what would be the possible treatments for what is going on (after you find out what's going on with the abdomin). Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
Nora, have you called your doctor office about what he wants you to have post op? Every doctor is different about what they want the patients to have and some dont' even allow mushy stuff until after 2 weeks. I was allowed to have it at 2 weeks but my stomach could not handle it. I finally could handle it about 4 weeks. Then, I just didn't care for it anymore so it was oatmeal and that's what I have stuck with. Make sure that when you make that cream of wheat add either more water or milk to keep it thin. You don't want it too thick, your tummy may not like it heavy. Guest guest
I am 7 months out and still have my " pregnancy belly " as well. I've been told that abdominal exercises like using an oblique machine or doing crunches, etc., will help get rid of that. I work at the Curves near where I live and we've just gotten in an oblique machine that is going to be put into place next week. I can't wait to see if it works as well as the other machines!! T. Guest guest
, You keep fighting girl, you know your body best!!! I would call your OB and tell them what happened and see what they say. Take it easy today and drink as many fluids as possible. I go to the perinatologist every Friday and they do an ultrasound to measure the amount of amino fluid so yours should be able to do this too. Last week when they found my fluid was on the low end of normal they told me to take it easy and up my fluids, explaining to me that the fluid is always replenishing and the more energy I use up the less I have to make more fluid, so resting and upping my fluid intake would bring it back up. I get so mad when docs don't listen to us! Try to stay calm but be strong and make them listen to you. Please post back to let us know how your doing, I'm sending prayers and positive vibes your way. Axelrod question Hey you guys!! Last night my hubby and I were watching a movie and all of a sudden I felt a trickle of fluid. It scared me so I went to the bathroom and my undies where a little bit wet. Well considering all the things that have been going on with my low blood sugar and being on bedrest my hubby decided to call the doctors office... It was 1am!! The doc on call calls me back and I could tell she was asleep at the time.. I oppologized for it being so late.. explained to her that I was 20 weeks pregnant and that I felt a trickle of fluid kind of like I had lost bladder control but it wasnt coming from that area. She told me oh you probably did just have an accident and didnt realize it. HELLO??? I could tell that it wasnt coming from that area when it happened.. not to mention when I wipe it is still damp and not a normal discharge type liquid!! ((sorry if so graphic)) She just kept saying you had an accident!! You lost control of your bladder!! Finally I was just irritated and said thank you and hung up!! I told my hubby to go to bed and if I felt it again or if I got cramps I would wake him up... I finally fell asleep at about 3am and had the worst of nightmares... I didnt have the problem again and havent this morning. I guess after rambling my question is did anyone have this sort of problem feeling a leakage this early on? I dont know if I should be as worried as I am or if I should just not worry about it and keep an eye out for it again!! I go to a perinatologist this friday that my OB is sending me to so maybe we can resolve some of my issues. Maybe he can do an ultrasound to make sure the amniotic fluid level is ok still!! Its frustrating when you have no clue what your doing!! Huggers,
Guest guest
I would demand to go to the doctors....Your pee pee and amniotic fluid come out of completely different areas and I'm sure you know what came from where. Guest guest
, Glucophage has the very common side effect of gas, diarrhea, and an upset stomach. It can go away after your body adjusts to taking it, but there is no guarantee. I think if you're using it just short-term for fertility issues the reward will certainly be worth the hassle. As far as the IUI, sorry I cannot help with that. Best of luck to you, Mandi in Concord, NC
Guest guest
the common side effects of Glucophage are stomach upset and loose stools. When I was on it it was pre WLS and yeah I had that for the first month or two but not too bad. I did notice that if I ate a lot of fat or carbs that is when I would get these symptoms the most. I would say if the side effects are not too bad then stay with it and watch the carbs and fat(I know post op you kinda do that anyway) Glucophage has helped many people concieve and is one thing they give people with PCOS to decrese chances of miscarriage so it is beneficial to you. - Diane
Guest guest
I have no idea. You could just do a search and just type in level 2 ultrasound measurements and see if anything comes up and try to write is a couple different ways and see what happens. i usually can find out some info like that. Guest guest
I think I had the same thing done. I had to have my front four teeth flared out into a overjet. The spaces happen pretty fast, but what takes longer is the roots to move away from eachother. I am scheduled for surgery Oct 12 and went to see mt Oral surgeon on thur. He said even if he want to break my upper jaw into three pieces he couldn't because there wasn't enough space between my roots. My ohrodontist has been flaring my teeth about the end of july I think. Guest guest
You could have alcohol as soon as you are off of the pain meds. I even had some wine through a Zip n squeeze! it was someone's birthday and I had about 2 ounces of wine with dinnner (it think I pureed chicken potatoes and gravy) I wouldn't over do it but you can have a drink or a beer if you can manage to drink it!
