Guest guest
The faith chat is still on the schedule for tonight/Wed. I know I won't be there, as I'll have the two kids I babysit plus 2 grandkids spending the night (just 2 spending the night!). If anyone wants to chat, feel free to go. Otherwise, Becky & I will be tag teaming on Sun. afternoon again! Ramblin' Rose Moderator Missed the show? Watch videos of the Live Earth Concert on MSN. Guest guest
from New kid on the block: Although I am unable to take part in the faith chat because of my church's choir rehearsal (scheduled at the same time), I will share a few "faithful moments" woth the group. I grew up Catholic and was even in the Convent for 5 years. But I kept having a recurrent dream that told me that there was a child out there waiting for me. I believed this to be God talking and so I left the convent. 18 days after the home study, a two year old boy walked into my life and has brought me joy, laughter and happiness as well as moments of utter frustration (remember he was in the "terrible twos." He is now 19 and is the one person inmy life that keeps me going, I named him which means "Gift of God." In times of illness and sadness I grieved but did not waiver in my faith. I found it to be the rock that I could stand on and never once did it falter. This illness and the others I have (MS, Carcinoid cancer and diabetes) have led me to a faith-based belife in the power of healing of body, mind and spirit. Athough there are times of frustration and anger, I always turn back to God to get me through it all. Rose wrote: The faith chat is still on the schedule for tonight/Wed. Guest guest
, if there is a any time that you would like to chat, not necessarily on a regular basis, but just that one day, try to post ahead of time & I'll meet you there if possible. That gives others a chance to join us also. The chat room is available 24/7.
