Guest guest
Hi, I woke up this morning saying oh no another day of heat and sunshine....how will I cope today? Do any of you wake up feeling that way? Some days I read good humor...including the jokes, etc. I find on this site...it brightens my day (not the way the sun does though) but in a feel good way. I wrote a poem...it is not a good one or the worse I've written but it comes of living with a truth within the wording it's self of how the strong will survive " that old Sarc Monster " and how it does business to each and every one of of us in such different ways. Thanks for being there. Clare Sarcoidosis Dreaming A visit from the Sarcoidosis fairy Shouldn't have us cringing in fear Waking up should not rule the day Please! no pain again today dear. A drooping face greets the mirror Oh, no Bell's Palsy's back in town An stiff upper lip will be hard to bare I can't feel my dentures from my own. The dual " red eyes " stage a wicked act The dry eyes in the theater showing Will not be for best performance But by bright lights a glowing. Toss and turn not awake or asleep Hey, turn off the heat please Lord help me, I need some rest Some relief from this awful disease.
Guest guest
Thank you for sharing. You are so right, to be able to put into words what our hearts are feeling is often a great therapy. Sometimes it'll bite ya in the butt, and that too can be good therapy--at least for the biter. I love the sunshine, and as far as the heat- 65 would be excellant, and then I could be outside all day!
