Guest guest
Rose "gagged" on the MSM! I can usually get anything down, but even A LOT of honey didn't do the job on this one! Sorry, Tracie, after 3 tries, I decided it wasn't meant to be. I'll have you send me your powder, and I'll send you some tablets--maybe that will work for you! As for asparagus, picked straight from the garden, rinsed, microwave for 3 minutes, with a touch of butter and Mrs. Dash vege seasoning and it is wonderful! You can even add it to the salad and top it with the dressing!!!!!!!!!!!!1Get a sneak peak of the all-new AOL.com.
Guest guest
Has anyone here tried N-Acetyl-Cysteine? It's a supplement that increases glutathione levels and it is incredibly healing and antiinflammatory. It also helps the body detoxify more poisons than anything else I've ever heard about. It lowers inflammation under a lot of different siuations.. It also helps people with lung inflammation breathe, its known for that.
Guest guest
Dear Racie Tracie, do you have any idea how many people have told me the same or similar stuff about asparagus? I've tried it several times, from home gardens & in fancy restaurants. Sorry. The same with liver & onions. I keep getting sucked into it--it looks good & smells good; why wouldn't it taste good? Nope. Now, I like fried chicken livers, but that's it. My mother-in-law used to make the best chicken livers. She showed me how & stressed to poke lots of holes in them before putting them into the grease. Well, I decided to try it one time. I guess I didn't poke enough holes, because as soon as I dropped those suckers into the grease, it popped all over the kitchen! Walls, counters, ceiling! I ran from the kitchen & didn't know what to do. My husband put a paper sack over his head with eyeholes in it & ran into the kitchen to put a lid on the skillet, then unplug it. It was pretty funny, except for cleaning the big globs of grease off of everything. So no more frying chicken livers for me. Guest guest
Okay...so this may gross some folks out but I knew a person once who had worked in a chicken plant. She had always LOVED fried chicken livers until she saw worms in some of the livers as they came down the belt...the people would just pull the ends off and the livers would go their merry way (to the stores!!!). Yuck...I never could eat them after she told me that. Rose wrote: Dear Racie Tracie, do you have any idea how many people have told me the same or similar stuff about asparagus? Guest guest
Hi, I saw something similar to that on a TV special, but it was some kind of fish not chicken. They said the worms were "normal" and if cleaned properly in the plant should never reach the market. However, once and a while a worm or two gets through. I won't eat egg rolls any more after finding worms. And they blend in so well. Some races eat worms, even cover them with chocolate. Good thing I don't like chicken livers. have a great day, RickMac Tosh wrote: Okay...so this may gross some folks out but I knew a person once who had worked in a chicken plant. Guest guest
Hi Rick,The person who told me this was someone reliable or I never would have believed it. This was back in the 1970's and before all the stuff we hear about now with our food. I had always loved fried chicken livers until then. Worms are probably much more sanitary than a lot of things we do eat but the thought just makes me cringe!Blessings,BeckyRick Jack wrote: Hi, I saw something similar to that on a TV special, but it was some kind of fish not chicken. Guest guest
Tracie, I finely got some MSM Caplets they are 1500mg each, took my first one last night and it really helped the pain I was wondering the bottle says one a day. How many MG a day do you take " Judy in PA
Guest guest
I take about 5000 mg a day- it is water soluble, so you'll pee away what you don't need. You may want to increase it slowly. It is incredible, and yeah- if the powder doesn't work-- the tablets are goodGet a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com.
Guest guest
Does anyone take n-acetyl cysteine, alpha lipoic acid, or taurine? They are other sulfur containing amino acids that help reduce inflammation.
