Guest guest
Do any of you ever watch "Mystery Diagnosis" on TLC? I love this show, because the patients have usually seen many doctors, even specialists, who can't find out what's wrong with them & SURPRISE! often suggest it's in their head! Then they finally get to a doctor who figures it out. Tonight a mother fired her son's pediatrician! I practically cheered! Guest guest
I too, watch " Mystery Diagnosis " ..I think I'm hooked on it. I keep Thinking one of these Drs is going to check for Sarcoid. I have also got hooked on " House " . Before I started watching House, An older sister of mine had been watching it, and came running to my apartment telling me to turn to channel 3 (where hose shows in our area) .... " They're talking about Sarcoid on the TV !! " ...from that point on I was hooked. Wonder if Dr House will ever show up on " Mystery Diagnosis " ...i'm sure he'd fit right in. mike scott
Guest guest
Thanks, Rose. I always meant to watch the show but forgot to. So I looked up the times and stations it's on and I'll try to catch one of the shows. Thanks! I pray we can all find docs like that...who figure out what's really going on. hugs S.Rose wrote: Do any of you ever watch "Mystery Diagnosis" on TLC? Guest guest
My current neuro is like that. He took tons of blood & ran every test he could think of & when they were all negative he told me about sarcoidosis & Dr Baughman. My neuro listens, writes stuff down & tells you his plan. He also likes feedback from you!grannylunatic@... Boardwalk for $500? In 2007? Ha! Play Monopoly Here and Now (it's updated for today's economy) at Yahoo! Games. Guest guest
Rose, I love that show. You are right. A lot of time they end up getting rid of the doctor and finding on that actually figures out the diagnosis. They have had some very interesting cases haven't they. Terri G. Guest guest
Yep. I'm just waiting for the sarc monster to star. One time I was getting excited because the patient had fatigue, dry eyes & mouth, pain . . . . but, alas, it was something else. Don't remember what now.
