Guest guest
I have a friend at church who has terminal cancer. He has been a hairdresser for over 50 years & just recently was forced to give it up & sell his salon. It was very difficult for him, but his wife decided to throw a surprise party for him, to celebrate all his accomplishments. She invited all his friends & customers. It was fantastic; great turnout. He was totally amazed. His wife is a caterer & cake maker. She made a cake with the names of every place he ever worked, starting with Paramount Studios (he actually did Shirley hair in the original Poseidon Adventure) & ending with the Mane Event, the salon he built here in . Okay, now for the funny part. I never actually had him do my hair, because by the time I met him, I had a stylist I was comfortable with. So I made a small poster of some of my really bad hair days (and wigs, etc.). He loved it and my grandkids cracked up over some of the pictures. So I thought I'd share it with y'all. I'll put it in the Photos section for those who can't open it here. Hope you enjoy it! Ramblin' Rose Moderator Learn.Laugh.Share. Reallivemoms is right place! Guest guest
I loved the gray, gray. Actually, I found myself laughing at me the other day. I had put on a gray pair of shorts, and a matching gray tanktop, so that I could go out and paint the town beige! Hugs, TracieGet a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com.
