Guest guest
Hey Guys, For some reason my post was bounced back to me so I am going to try again. I have posted pictures of me looking normal (my son's wedding) but I have never posted one of when I am feeling bad. I have posted a photo of me when I have Bell's - it was a self-portrait and we had a good laugh about it. It is ok if you guys laugh too. At least I had had my eyebrows waxed. They look good in the photo. Terri G.
Guest guest
Terri, did you post them in the Photos section? The second time I had Bell's palsy, I had to see a speech therapist who used electrostimulation to get the muscles to move. She gave me some facial exercises to do several times a day. Some of you know the weird expressions you get from those exercises. To remember to do them, I taped a small copy of the exercise sheet on my steering wheel & would do them while driving. Well, one day I took a couple of my grandkids to the drive-through at Dairy Queen. We had to wait awhile at the pick-up window, so I started doing my facial exercises to pass the time. Then one of the girls said, "Grandma, they're staring at you." 3 DQ employees were standing there watching me! I didn't even try to explain; I just took the food & escaped! Guest guest
Rose, Yes I did post it in the photos section. I never have a lot of eye involvement. I just can't hold my eye closed very well if the doc tries to open it. They treat me most of the time that this is a normal thing....I usually have trigeminal neuralgia with it.. Terri PS - I would have loved to have been a fly to see the looks on the DQ employees faces.
